A 0.5″ PEI dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet and SEL (Sound Expander Lens) ring adds crisp, detailed high frequencies, while a DDC-coated 2-layer paper cone keeps the mid-range smooth and clean. With 88 dB sensitivity, the S-4602 also plays a little louder from the same power than many of the factory speakers it replaces. Built to fit and to last A shallow 1.94″ mounting depth helps the S-4602 fit neatly into tight factory openings, while an EFF (Efficient Flux Field) motor structure with a 6 oz magnet and a rigid tooled basket keeps the design efficient and solid. A double-pressed treated foam surround stands up to daily use, and the speakers are supplied as a pair.
