The Universal R650 Portable Resistive Load Bank is ideal for testing and maintaining generators and UPS Systems up to 650kW. FEATURES Load Capacity: 650kW at 240 & 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz. Derates to 487kW at 208VAC 3PH. Full Load Amps at 650kW: 1562 Amps at 240 VAC and 781 Amps at 480 VAC. Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation. Load Step Resolution: 5kW at 240/480V. Controls: Digital touchscreen. Instrumentation: Digital metering (V, A, kW) and data logging. Control/Cooling Power: Integrated Dual Voltage Control Transformer for control circuit operation.  Control/cooling power derived from load bus. (See Options below for optional external power supply.) Cooling System: Quiet high efficiency cooling fan. Load Elements: Resistor elements are high-temperature nichrome/mica type exclusively manufactured by Universal Load Banks and supported by stainless steel rods. Safety Features: Over-temperature, over/under voltage, cooling-air loss and 3 phase imbalance protection, load dump, and internal fuses for load element groups. Load Connections: Quick disconnect cam-type male connectors on the front of the load bank (4 per Phase, 1 Ground). Enclosure: Heavy gauge steel NEMA 3R enclosure with caster wheels, fork lift slots and lifting hooks.
